The judge investigating the case of Luis Rubiales kissing Jennifer Hermoso did not allow the former president of the Spanish Football Federation to get within 200 meters of the player and establish any contact with her, El Spanish newspaper reports.
The decision came after Spanish prosecutors asked the court to prevent Rubiales from being within 500 meters of the player, according to information published by the EFE news agency.
The former president denied in court all the facts brought against him and claims that the kiss was consensual.
The world champion’s lawyer confirmed the opposite version. “Everyone has seen the images. A country [Espanha] whole saw. And we can say for sure that because of this, as well as social changes, legal changes, we can in some way say that there was a complete lack of consent in the actions of Mr. Rubiales,” he said in statements to reporters.
Luis Rubiales is accused by the Spanish National Court of crimes of sexual violence and coercion.
