In an incredible string of atrocities and likely in police retaliation for the deaths of colleagues, eight people were shot dead in less than 14 hours in the Brazilian town of Camaragibe, in the Recife metropolitan region, capital of the state of Pernambuco. .
The first death of two police officers occurred at 9 pm local time on Thursday, and the last death of the man who killed them occurred at 11 am this Friday in the Tabatinga region in northeastern Brazil.

An argument ensued, and suddenly one of the partygoers, amateur shooter Alex Silva, and the soldiers began exchanging shots. Both agents were killed.
Shortly thereafter, around 2 a.m. Friday local time and 6 a.m. in Lisbon, the shooter’s family home was invaded by hooded men with high-caliber weapons, who killed Alex’s three brothers with a volley of shots at close range: Amerson, Apuina, and Agatha.
The massacre was broadcast live on Instagram because when the unknown men, who residents of the neighborhood said were police officers avenging the deaths of their colleagues, entered the house, Agatha sent a direct message to the social network.
At dawn, two more people from Alex’s family were killed: his mother, Maria Jose, and another woman, who was not identified at that time, but who is believed to be the shooter’s companion. They were found dead in a sugar cane field in the Pau d’Aglio region, also riddled with bullets.
The chain of violence only ended around 11 a.m. this Friday, when Alex Silva himself, who had never been in trouble with the law, had a job and a seemingly peaceful life, was surrounded by a heavy police contingent in the forest in the area. and with the help of helicopters he was discovered and shot down.
In addition to the eight killed, at least five others were wounded in a series of shootings: three police officers, a minor under 14 years old and a pregnant woman who was hospitalized this Saturday in the capital Recife.
