“The girl was purple and not breathing,” recalls a trader who participated and followed the inglorious attempts to save the child this Tuesday.
When it was noticed that the girl was not breathing, Fatima Santos called INEM on 112. “I received orders to place the child on a solid support, do massages and breathe mouth to mouth” until emergency services arrived. .
“They tried everything, even a defibrillator. The girl expressed milk,” said Fatima Santos. In the end, it was determined that death was the result of apparent suffocation: the girl could have swallowed the liquid and suffocated.
The body has been taken to the mortuary and an autopsy will be performed. The judge was informed and cleared the crime scene.
Alice’s mother had to receive psychological support from INEM.
