In Komi, search engines were able to find a man who had disappeared in the forest; A mobilized SVO soldier who was on vacation helped do it with the help of a drone, the BNK agency reported on September 21.
The report says the story occurred in the first ten days of September. Then a 70-year-old resident of the city of Gybad, Syktyvdinsky district of the republic, did not return from the forest.
The search for the man was organized by the LizaAlert regional detachment. The residents of the area also participated in them. Despite clear organization and good communication between the groups, it was not possible to find the missing person within 24 hours.
One of the participants in the search, Alexey Kostornov, said that it was decided to find the operator of the UAV. It turned out to be his acquaintance, the mobilized Dmitry, with whom the search engine is connected by the organization of humanitarian aid to the participants of the Northern Military District.
“…My friend Dmitry joined us. He is mobilized. He came on vacation to Syktyvkar. He acts as a UAV operator. I brought my helicopter, fully prepared: I charged 11 batteries, so I was ready to “fly” all day.”– said Alexey.
According to him, the fighter, taking into account the previously controlled territory, skillfully described the inspection points of the area.
“The first few days we observed where the search was being carried out and discovered that the missing person simply could not physically pass beyond a certain square. They distributed us among the points and after a while Dmitry reported on the radio that he had found the missing person. Alive!the search engine noted.
