Ukrainian energy operator Energoatom on Wednesday accused Russia of returning to the bombing of the Zaporozhye power plant in southern Ukraine, the largest in Europe. “Russian terrorists again bombed the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant at night,” a Ukrainian official said on the Telegram messaging network.
The Russian Defense Ministry said on Tuesday that a Ukrainian attack on a nuclear power plant controlled by Moscow forces damaged one of the complex’s buildings.
The warning of a new attack on the nuclear power plant area came shortly after Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a “partial mobilization” of 300,000 Russian reservists.
The statement addressed to the country was made this Wednesday on television, and Putin said that the goal of the West is to destroy Russia.
