The international exhibition and conference “RAO/CIS OFFSHORE 2023” on the development of oil and gas in the Russian Arctic and the continental shelf of the CIS countries will begin operations in St. Petersburg, the organizers of the event announced on September 26 , the Press Service of the conference reports.
“Holding events such as RAO/CIS Offshore, where high-tech equipment for geological survey and development of oil and gas fields is displayed, helps to solve priority problems for the development of the Russian economy,” – said Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexander Novak in his welcome address to conference participants on the event website. The forum will last 4 days.
We remind you that the RAO/CIS Offshore conference is held every 2 years. In the exhibition part of the forum, projects for the development of oil and gas fields in the Russian Arctic and the continental shelf of the CIS countries, new equipment and technologies for drilling and development of marine hydrocarbon fields, equipment protection and security.
Previously, Russian oil companies, in connection with the increase in fuel and lubricant prices, at a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak promised to guarantee fuel supplies to Russian farmers during the sowing period.
