Around two policemen were killed by Al-Shabaab terrorists in Kenya in an attack on their car, on December 22, Reuters reports.
A police truck was traveling from Hayley Lapset’s camp to the town of Garissa, about 120 kilometers from the Somali border, when it was blew up by an explosive device, police said in a statement.
The militants then fired at the vehicle with a grenade launcher and engaged in a shootout that left several people dead, police added.
Al-Shabaab Andalus radio station reported on air that its militants killed two Kenyan security officers and wounded several others.
Remember that in early 2015, terrorists killed 166 people at Garissa University and 67 people in a shopping mall in Nairobi in 2013, but in recent years, the frequency and severity of Al-Shabaab attacks in Kenya Have decreased.
