The Judicial Police (SP) arrested a 30-year-old man on suspicion of co-authorship of two robberies, one of which was aggravated, committed in Paredes. The facts date back to August 3 of this year.
According to the SP statement, the man, accompanied by another man, met two young men in Galerias de Paris, an area of bars and clubs in Porto, and asked them for a ride. The victims stopped the car in a wooded area, on a dirt road, as instructed. After that, under the threat of shooting, they were forced to hand over the property and money they owned.
After committing the crime, the suspects fled.
The detainee has a criminal record for robbery, theft, drug trafficking and causing harm to physical integrity. It will be submitted to the judicial authorities for enforcement action they deem appropriate.
