Alliance Healthcare Espana’s drug wholesale business has been suspended after “non-compliance” with its good distribution practice system was identified, Infarmed said.
Citing information from the competent authorities in Spain, the National Medicines and Health Products Authority warns that the medicines of this distributor should not be sold.
In a message published on Friday, all organizations that purchased medicines from this distributor and/or were contacted by Alliance Healthcare Espana are advised to purchase the medicines and report the situation to Infarmed by email at [email protected].
It also warns that drugs supplied by unauthorized distributors should be considered counterfeit, their quality, safety and effectiveness are not guaranteed and therefore should not be sold.
