This Friday, eighteen airports in different regions of France were the target of new false bomb warnings, ten of which were evacuated, according to authorities, who promised that the “big idiots” behind the reports would be punished.
However, operations at the major airports serving Paris, Charles de Gaulle and Orly have not been affected since the wave began on Wednesday.
“Since Wednesday we have seen an increase in the number of warnings, false bomb threats at airports. And I want to say very clearly that the smart guys or jokers who devote themselves to these kinds of games are in fact big idiots or even big criminals,” said French Transport Minister Clément Beaune.
