The president of a synagogue in Detroit, USA, was found dead early Saturday morning on the doorstep of his home. Samantha Wall was stabbed to death.
In accordance with ABC NewsThe president’s death comes as law enforcement agencies across the country warn of an increase in anti-Semitic threats in light of the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas.
“Authorities observed a trail of blood that led officers to the victim’s home, where the crime allegedly occurred,” a police statement quoted by the newspaper said.
“We are shocked and saddened to learn of the unexpected death of Samantha Wall, our board president,” the synagogue wrote in a social media post. “May her memory be a blessing.”
