The Bank of Portugal (BdP) warned this Monday that an alleged organization operating through the portals https://meueuro.[.]com and https:// Bluorbankas[.]com is not authorized to provide, broker or provide credit advice, according to a statement on the website.
The Portuguese regulator warned that the organization “attempts to promote publicity for its alleged activities in the media” but that “it is not currently and has never been authorized to carry out any activities in Portugal.” financial sector dedicated to institutions supervised by the Bank of Portugal, namely: grants, intermediation and credit counseling.”
The BDP reminded that “activities of extending credit” as well as “activities of credit intermediation and provision of advisory services in relation to credit contracts” are “reserved for persons qualified to perform them” as prescribed by law.
