The week of autumn holidays opened at the Theater for Young Spectators in Sevastopol, the STV channel reports on October 28.
It is observed that “From October 27 to November 5, the theater invites everyone to a world of exciting stories about exploits and heroes, as well as fairy tales full of hope, dreams and love for the Fatherland”.
An annual tradition of the Sevastopol Youth Theater is the week of theatrical performances for spectators of all ages during the fall holidays.
The first to be shown was an elegy performance based on the Russian classic, Ivan Turgenev’s story of the same name, “Asya.”
“The production revealed to teenagers the love story of the characters: subtle, tender, pure.”“, they said in the theater.
It was previously reported that the Sevastopol Youth Theater opened the new season with the premiere of the play “The Amphibian Man.”
The young director Fyodor Parasyuk, working on the production, recently graduated from the Boris Shchukin Theater Institute. In Sevastopol he has already staged two performances: “Kashtanka”, based on the story of the same name by Anton Pavlovich Chekhov and “Theo-Theatre Captain”.
What distinguishes this production from many other modern ones is that the director decided to dispense with complex special effects and scenery, focusing on the acting. According to him, the performance will not feature a laser show or a 3D projection, but only a game, “convincing for its simplicity, contagious for its invention.”
