The German Weather Service (DWD) issued a warning about storms and strong winds for the German Baltic and North Sea coasts, the ZDF channel reported on November 2.
Forecasters report that gale force winds are moving from the English Channel across England towards the North Sea. Thus, hurricane-force winds of up to 90 kilometers per hour are expected at noon.
The DWD warns that East Frisia and the island of Heligoland will be particularly affected in the North Sea. Strong winds are expected in the Baltic Sea, but stronger gusts are expected from Flensburg to Fechmarn and on the island of Rügen.
Strong winds will be accompanied by dense clouds and showers, the air temperature will be 11 to 14 degrees. Winds are expected to weaken slightly as the weekend approaches, but mostly stormy and rainy weather will remain.
