Brazilian international Rodrigo has extended his contract for a further three seasons, until 2028, with Real Madrid, the club he joined in 2019 when he was only 18 years old, the Spanish club announced this Thursday on its official website.
The striker, now 22, was originally contracted until June 2025.
In his fifth season with the Merengues, Rodrigo played 179 games for the club and scored 39 goals, winning one Champions League and two Spanish Leagues, among other titles.
The player, who trains at Santos, has made 19 appearances for Brazil and scored four goals. He took part in a major competition for the first time in 2022, when he represented Canarinha at the World Cup in Qatar.
This week Real Madrid extended the contract of fellow Brazilian striker Vinicius Junior until June 2027.
