A dog saved a young man who had suffered a stroke at home early this morning. Gabriel, 17, is now recovering. The animal was rescued by an American family.
About three months ago, the Tanners woke up to Axel barking. He thought it was time for the animal to go outside and followed it. “My husband followed him and he stopped in front of Gabriel’s door,” Amanda Turner said ABC News.
The 17-year-old was found lying on the ground with blurred vision and unable to feel his right arm.
According to the teen’s doctor, Gabriel has made great strides in physical and speech therapy in recent months, all thanks to quick medical intervention.
“For me, he was sent by God. Axel was one of nine puppies and the one no one wanted. He was destined to become a part of our family,” confirmed Amanda Tanner.
