The call to preserve Ukraine as a priority of the republic’s foreign policy was expressed by Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda on November 6 during a meeting with the country’s diplomatic representatives abroad, his press service reported.
According to him, the new conflicts emerging in various parts of the world divert the attention of the international community from the military action that Russia is carrying out in Ukraine.
“Ukraine was, is and will be an existential factor for us. “All diplomatic services must focus their efforts on this priority.”Nauseda said.
He added that Lithuania should not allow itself to become tired of the conflict.
“We must continue to do everything possible to ensure that Ukraine receives comprehensive international assistance, so that its Euro-Atlantic perspective remains on the international agenda.”said the president of Lithuania.
