Timor-Leste’s government has praised the first four months of government and stressed that “necessary adjustments” have been made for the country’s development, the Timorese leader said in a statement issued to the press.
“The first 120 days have been marked by a study of the necessary adjustments that must be applied to processes, systems and methodologies that impede sustainable development,” a Tuesday statement published on the Timorese government’s official website can be read.
According to a Timorese government spokesman, between July 1 and October 28, “efforts were focused on creating the necessary foundations for building a more prosperous, healthy, educated, skilled, innovative and dynamic nation” to ensure access to “essential goods and services” and creating more jobs in all sectors.
