In the same month, the union of security guards, gardeners, canteen workers and maids in schools in Sao Tome and Principe also sought support from the President of the Republic to improve wage conditions for its members.
“What we earn is not enough to guarantee daily food. We have already made it clear that if this does not happen, one day we will stop working,” said union president Hilaria Nunez.
