Early this Sunday morning, several walls of the football fields at the Benfica campus in Seixal were covered with graffiti. The PSP confirms the fact of the incident.
This was reported by an official source in the Setúbal PSP command, which is responsible for patrolling the area. CM that the alarm was raised at 4:30 am. “The Benfica campus securities officers warned PSP,” he explained.
The footage links the acts of vandalism to Sporting fans on the day of the derby between the two teams, which will take place at 20:30 this Sunday at the Estádio da Luz stadium in Lisbon.
Roger Schmidt’s team is interning at the Academia do Seixal. The bus going to the Luz stadium, the same official source concluded, will be “the subject of a special police operation.”
