A Palestinian man was detained at home by the Israeli army this Monday and the moment was broadcast live on TikTok, quickly going viral.
Agency ReutersEyad Benat explained that he was at home with his family in the West Bank city of Hebron, watching the news on television, when Israeli soldiers entered the house and began attacking him.
The moment was recorded by one of the family members and broadcast live via the social network TikTok. In the video, Benat’s daughter can be heard screaming.
In an interview with ReutersThe man says he collected money to send to aid workers in Gaza and provided housing for eight Gaza workers who have been unable to return home since the war began.
Benat said Israeli soldiers asked him questions about the two situations before releasing him, just hours after his arrest. Six workers he sheltered were detained.
In accordance with Reuters, The Israeli army said it was analyzing the incident.
