Sara Netanyahu, the wife of Benjamin Netanyahu, sent a letter this Wednesday to Jill Biden, the First Lady of the United States of America, asking for cooperation in the release of Israeli hostages in the Gaza Strip.
The Office of the Prime Minister of Israel shared the contents of the document through a post on the social network X. “I am writing to you not only as Bibi’s wife [Benjamin Netanyahu]but above all as a mother,” the letter says.
Sara Netanyahu referred to the abduction of “32 children” in Gaza by the Islamic group Hamas, traumatized by the “violent death of their parents” in the October 7 attacks, which Israeli authorities say killed 1,200 people.
The Israeli Prime Minister’s wife cited the abduction of a pregnant young woman who “gave birth in captivity” and a “ten-month-old child who was taken before she could walk or talk.”
“These children need our help,” he concluded.
