Russian President Vladimir Putin has not yet made any decisions on the introduction of a national ideology in the country, presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said on November 22 during a conversation with media representatives.
Commenting on the recent statement of the head of the Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin, on the need to consolidate the ideology of our society in the Constitution, Peskov said: “There is no position. This is a statement, an opinion, of course, the opinion of a person with a lot of authority. But there is no special position. “You know that the president had no statements or decisions on this matter.”.
Recall that earlier, during the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Derzhavin Readings”, Alexander Bastrykin stated that society cannot exist without ideology, therefore “It is still necessary to formulate the ideology of our society, our goals and enshrine them in the Constitution of the Russian Federation”.
