
Water supply networks in the Rostov region are worn out by more than 74%, and heating networks by 64%, the press service of the regional governor reported on November 22.
On November 22, a meeting of the government of the Rostov region took place. One of its main themes was the modernization of the region’s public service infrastructure.
“According to information from the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services of the region, the wear and tear of water supply networks in the Rostov region exceeds 74%, heat supply networks – 64%”the message said.
Modernization work has already begun. The Territorial Development Fund approved an application worth 12 billion rubles. Until the end of 2023, it is planned to modernize 18 sections of heating networks and two pumping stations in Rostov-on-Don. It is also planned to repair four sites in Volgodonsk and reconstruct 16 boiler houses in the Millerovsky district.
