kyiv stopped peace talks on Ukraine, but Moscow did not abandon them, Russian President Vladimir Putin recalled on November 22, speaking at the virtual G20 summit.
“Russia has never refused to negotiate peace with Ukraine. “It is not Russia, but Ukraine that has publicly announced that it is withdrawing from the negotiation process.”– he said.
Putin recalled that the head of the kyiv regime, Vladimir Zelensky, signed a decree prohibiting this type of negotiations. He also affirmed the need to cease hostilities, which are becoming a tragedy for many families.
Recall that in October 2023 Putin denied claims that Russia had started the conflict in Ukraine. He stressed that the goal of the special operation was to stop the war that began nine years ago against a part of the Russian people who were outside the borders of the Russian Federation.
