Thousands of residents of Rostov-on-Don were left without electricity, heating and water supply due to the construction of the Western Chord highway, the head of the city administration, Alexey Logvinenko, reported on November 22 on his Telegram channel.
The mayor explained that the company T-Trans LLC, during the construction of the cordon, carried out excavation work on Dovator Street and interrupted the electrical cable. This cable powers apartment buildings at the following addresses: st. Stabilnaya, 3, st. Koblova, 4 and Wavy, 25.
“As a result, thousands of residents were left without electricity, heat and water supply. “On this fact, the Rostov administration submitted a request to the city prosecutor’s office.”– said Logvinenko.
Repairs to the damaged area are being carried out by Donenergo RGES. It will take about six hours. Repair work will be carried out by the organization that damaged the cable. While repairs are being made, a generator will be connected so that electricity can begin to flow to homes on a temporary schedule.
