A common center will be built for the conservatory and the Volgograd State Institute of Art and Culture, the governor of the Volgograd region, Andrei Bocharov, said at a meeting with journalists on November 22.
“The Volgograd Conservatory is named after her. Serebryakova and the Volgograd State Institute of Art and Culture will in the future be a single cultural and educational center.” – says the message.
The regional head visited these educational institutions and learned about the working conditions of the teaching staff. Bocharov considered these conditions to be unsatisfactory and incompatible with the demands of the present and the future.
The governor highlighted Russian President Putin’s position on culture, which is “bearer of the traditions and faith of our fathers, it serves as a guarantee of the preservation of our spiritual roots, gives stability in the face of any challenge and serves as a moral guide that allows us to remain human in the most difficult conditions. “
Bocharov spoke about the need to create a cultural and educational center in the Volgograd region. This institution will combine a conservatory, a cultural institute and a regional creative association.
It is highlighted that after the implementation of the project, the institutions will be able to at least double the space occupied in the new building.
