
The status of the country’s strongest skier was confirmed by the leader of the Russian team Alexander Bolshunov (Arkhangelsk region) on November 23, having won the skating race of the first stage of the Russian Cup in Khakassia at a distance of 15 km.
On the slope of the ski complex in the town of Vershina Teoi, Bolshunov was 6.3 seconds ahead of Artem Maltsev, who came in second. Another representative of the Arkhangelsk region, Savely Korostelev (+19.2 seconds), closed the top three.
