Actor Jamie Foxx was accused of sexual assault that allegedly occurred on the terrace of a restaurant in the North American city in 2015 in a New York state court on Wednesday.
The complainant, known as Jane Doe, accused Eric Marlon Bishop, known as Jamie Foxx, of touching her without consent after she and her friend approached the actor on the terrace of a Manhattan restaurant in August 2015.
According to the complaint, Fox agreed to be photographed, complimented the woman by comparing her to actress Gabrielle Union, then grabbed her arm, pulled her away and touched her breast without consent.
According to the report, the woman’s friend noticed the situation, interrupted them, and Jamie Foxx left. Reuters.
Representatives for the actor have not yet responded to requests for comment on the lawsuit.
