More than 400 million rubles will be redistributed for these purposes; Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a decree in this regard.
According to the order, the funds received will be used for the overhaul of hydraulic structures in the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, the Karachay-Cherkess Republic, the Republic of Dagestan, Mordovia, the Trans-Baikal Territory and the Moscow Region. Thanks to the financing received, the necessary works will be carried out to protect residential buildings, businesses, roads and infrastructure from flooding.
In addition, it is planned that part of the allocated funds will be used to clean rivers in the territories of the Chechen Republic, Crimea and the Smolensk region, and flood control work will also be carried out in the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic. To eliminate the consequences of the rains that fell in the republic in 2023, it is planned to deepen the bottom and regulate the channels of the Cherek, Baksan, Urvan and Nalchik rivers.
