The kidnappers of a 16-year-old boy from the Orël region were detained by law enforcement officers, the press service of the regional Ministry of the Interior reported on November 24.
The crime was committed by two residents of the Krasnodar region who came to visit their friends in the Novosilsky district of the Oryol region. The attackers were driving a Lada Granta with Rostov license plates. They forced the girl into a car and took her away from the region.
Her mother reported the girl’s disappearance to the police. After this, car orientation became widespread. “This vehicle was stopped by officers of the traffic police department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia “Kamensky” in the city of Kamensk-Shakhtinsky, Rostov region., the police said. The girl was taken to her parents’ house.
The Investigative Committee of the Oryol Region opened a criminal case against the kidnappers under subparagraphs “a”, “d”, part 2 of art. 126 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (kidnapping). The investigation calls for those detained to be taken into custody.
