The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar, received the Ambassador of Bahrain and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yousif Abdulkarim Buchiri.
Buchiri is visiting the United Arab Emirates to attend the second coordination meeting on human rights between the foreign ministries of the two countries, held in Abu Dhabi.
Minister Al Marar praised the unique fraternal relations between the two countries and highlighted the importance of continuing joint consultations and coordination on various human rights issues.
He also emphasized the need to highlight the two countries’ human rights success stories, especially their efforts to promote peaceful coexistence and religious tolerance at international meetings.
The Minister of Legal Affairs and Human Rights expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Minister of State for his continued support to the joint coordination meeting and wished the United Arab Emirates every success in organizing and presiding over the 28th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate. Change (COP28).
