According to the document, aquatic territories and zones, construction sites and waste dumps are considered objects of accumulated environmental damage if they are not removed in a timely manner.
Rospotrebnadzor or, according to it, local government bodies are tasked with assessing environmental damage. Rospotrebnodzor is also obliged to assess the damage caused to people living in the area.
The period for considering requests for damage assessment is set at 30 business days and 5 days are reserved for the damage assessment itself. Rospotrebnazdor will inform local authorities about the results of the survey.
