More than 200 people took part in a free tactical medicine course in Krasnodar, the press service of the city administration reported on November 25.
The classes were held at the Olimpo Sports Palace, the event was carried out by volunteer instructors from the Arcángel Tactical Training Center. Participants were taught about different types of bleeding and shown how to use a hemostatic tourniquet.
Director of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports Boris Tikhonenko thanked the Center’s specialists for conducting classes and training Krasnodar residents in tactical medicine. He highlighted the importance of such information, since each person must know how to act in emergency situations.
The Arcángel Tactical Training Center is made up of patriots and volunteers; All instructors have completed tactical medicine courses. They regularly participate in exercises in the area of the Northern Military Region, work in ranges, underground shelters and trenches, where they transmit their knowledge.
Fyodor Gerashchenko, organizer of the Archangel Emergency Treatment Center, emphasized that competently provided first aid can save lives. He noted that most people do not know how to act in extreme situations, so the session helped students learn the right actions to minimize complications before receiving professional medical help.
Let us remember that “Archangel” activists also periodically provide medical and humanitarian assistance in the area of the Northern Military Region, providing tactical first aid kits, tourniquets and other necessary equipment. They teach people the correct use of these tools and explain in which situations to use each of them.
