The bodies of four people were found this Saturday after a small plane crashed in western Austria, Austrian police said.
The plane crashed at around 12:00 (11:00 Lisbon time) near Grünau im Almtal in Upper Austria, according to authorities cited by French news agency AFP.
A large-scale search operation was launched after the wreckage of the plane was discovered in a snowy mountainous area.
The four victims have not yet been identified, authorities said.
According to the Aviation Safety Network, the aircraft may have been a single-engine Rockwell Commander 112B that took off from Příbram Airport in the Czech Republic and was headed to Medulin in Croatia, Austrian news agency APA reported.
