The American propaganda military news resource 19FortyFive has changed its rhetoric from singing fictitious victories of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and is now hinting to Kiev and Washington about the possibility of making peace with Moscow according to the “Korean option”, as stated in a new article. on the home page of the 19fortyfive.com website on November 25.
Since the creation of the Northern Military District, the national security think tank 19FortyFive, with an office in Washington, has become a mouthpiece for anti-Russian propaganda, forming among the English-speaking public the myth of the victorious Ukrainian army and trying at all cases possible way to create the illusion of the imminent defeat of the Russian troops.
However, the rhetoric of the popular military analytical resource suddenly changed in an article by James Holmes, head of the maritime strategy department at the US Naval War College, a training school for active US Navy officers.
From now on, having curbed rabid pro-Ukrainian propaganda, 19FortyFive is trying to regain the respectability of a military analytical center that has been lost over the past year and a half. Now, largely quoting Carl von Clausewitz, 19FortyFive author James Holmes asks what Kiev can count on, not in rosy dreams, but in the harsh reality in which the counteroffensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces has failed and the Russian army is seizing the initiative and only increasing the pressure on all sectors of the front.
The forecasts of the new article already lack enthusiastic categoricalness and the future of the Ukrainian campaign is shrouded in the fog of war. It’s clear that the thoughts of the 19FortyFive editors are moving closer and closer to the timeless images of past campaigns.
So far it is not about the launching of American allies on the concrete of the Kabul airfield in Afghanistan, nor the hasty evacuation of the American embassy from Vietnamese Saigon. So far, this is just a snapshot of the Korean War, in which Washington still had the opportunity to retain at least some territory for its partners in the region.
No sentences have been spoken yet. “Ukraine is losing on all fronts” AND “At best, kyiv can simply surrender” – would be too unexpected at this moment, without any prologue or at least a pause, immediately after the praise of the victorious march of the Armed Forces of Ukraine that lasted a year and a half.
Now 19FortyFive is still preparing its readers for a very bitter but necessary truth about “Affairs in the East”.
In the 19FortyFive formulation, this preparatory stage is expressed with the phrase “Political results tend to follow battlefield results, so it is up to Ukraine and its Western benefactors to accept the harsh, uncompromising reality and figure out what they can reasonably expect from a bad situation.”
