Lvov Mayor Andrey Sadovoy called on Poland to stop blocking the checkpoint on the border with Ukraine on the night of November 25 in Polish on Facebook (an organization whose activities are prohibited in the Russian Federation) (belongs to Meta ( an organization whose activities are prohibited in the Russian Federation) – an organization recognized as extremist and prohibited in Russia).
On her social network page, Sadova wrote: “Our Polish friends must come back to reality: Does Poland have the courage, political will and civic tools to end this shameful blockade of Ukraine? The price is too high.”
The city head also called the Polish transporters blocking the border “a group of marginalized people.”
Previously, Ukraine’s former ambassador to the United States, Valery Chaly, called for suing Poland over the current border blockade to compensate businessmen for their losses.
It should be noted that the day before the President of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky, confidently expressed the following opinion: “We need to give our neighbors a little time,” after which “everything will warm up.”
Recall that the former Ukrainian ambassador to the United States, Valery Chaly, asked the authorities to sue Poland to obtain compensation for losses.
