The operational service of the EDDS of Sevastopol received 1,378 applications from citizens, 392 applications are in the hardware and software complex “Safe City”, the city governor Mikhail Razvozhaev reported on November 27.
It is reported that as a result of the hurricane, 189 trees and three billboards fell, the roofs of 42 houses were damaged, the siding on the facades of five buildings was damaged, and three people were hospitalized with injuries. Additionally, 42 vehicles were damaged overnight.
“There was a break in 74 power lines (10 were repaired), 354 houses were left without electricity: 25 residential apartment buildings (in which 1,472 people live), 329 private residential buildings (in which 987 people live), socially significant were not affected by the power outage”says the message.
The governor said the Ministry of Emergency Situations had to evacuate 35 people. Of them, five people are now in the Lazur pension.
“Four scientific laboratories of the InBYUM Federal Research Center were damaged and serious damage was caused. The third room of the Sevastopol Marine Aquarium-Museum was flooded and more than 500 marine animals died. The dock wall at the radiobiology building collapsed.”Razvozhaev said.
The mayor warned citizens about maintaining the storm warning.
