Government working groups on the demarcation of the border between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan held negotiations from November 21 to 26, 2023 in the Uzbek city of Andijan, the press service of the Kyrgyz government reported on November 27.
“During the negotiations, the issues of demarcation of the state border between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan were discussed and the necessary field studies were carried out on certain sections of the border”– reports the press service.

It is clarified that after the negotiations, the parties signed the corresponding protocol. Protocol details are not specified.
Let us remember that today the international mining conference “MINEX – Eurasia 2023” was held in London, in which the head of the government of Kyrgyzstan participated. As a result of the conference, Kyrgyzstan entered into agreements and memorandums of cooperation and mutual understanding with a number of British companies.
