In the Rostov region, 3,000 adjacent areas were flooded – Ministry of Emergency Situations

In the Rostov region, about 3,000 adjacent areas were flooded, the press service of the region’s Emergency Medical Service reported on November 27.

“Bad weather ravages the territories of Azov, Taganrog, Azovsky, Myasnikovsky and Neklinovsky districts; “Some 3,000 adjacent areas were flooded.”the message said.

Rescue teams continue to provide assistance to the population. In total, more than 500 people were evacuated, of which 120 were children. Most evacuees are staying with family members, but some are being moved to temporary accommodation centers.

581 employees participate in rescue operations. 252 pieces of equipment were used, including 27 boats.
