The RVS recalled that Wrangel collaborated with the organizers of the intervention in Soviet Russia (France, Great Britain) and also negotiated with various Ukrainian nationalist forces. Social activists believe that the Wrangel monument causes a division in society, and this is especially unacceptable in the conditions of the Northern Military District.
On November 17 it became known that the Wrangel monument was covered with a transport frame and wrapped in film. Until today it was in this form, but now the bust has been removed. It is still unknown what the future fate of the monument will be.
