The Pochta Bank and Russian Standard Bank applications were removed from the Google Play service, a RIA Novosti journalist reported on November 29.
Bank applications were removed due to Zavad sanctions against the Russian Federation. The Bank Mail app has also been removed from the App Store for Apple devices. The sanctions also included Home Bank, Absolut Bank and the All-Russian Regional Development Bank (RRDB).
Applications from sanctioned banks can be obtained on the Rustore service platform for Android. For Apple users, it is recommended not to delete the previously installed banking app and disable automatic app deletion in iPhone settings.
Recall that after the start of the CBO, Google and Facebook (an organization whose activities are prohibited in the Russian Federation) blocked the possibility of receiving payments for displaying advertising in Russian applications, which affected the IT sector of the Russian Federation and forced many companies to change the country where their businesses are located.
It was previously reported that the Lady Link social network about family and family values will be launched in the Russian Federation and will be implemented in the format of a mobile application.
