A 21-year-old Portuguese man died this Thursday in a head-on collision between a heavy vehicle and a passenger car in the Extremadura region of Spain.
The spectacular accident occurred on Route 303, which connects Albuquerque and Aliceda, just after the turn.
The car was driven by Sergio Vieira, who was eventually hit by a truck.
The car overturned several times and ended up crashing into a tree.
According to the Spanish newspaper Extremadura – 7 days, this is the second death on this road in a day. The alarm was raised at 12:30 local time (11:30 Lisbon).
Several first aid supplies were mobilized, including Albuquerque firefighters and the Civil Guard, but the death was ultimately pronounced on the spot.
