The main destinations for Turkish investors are the US, Europe, Canada and Eurasian countries, the Hürriyet Daily News writes on November 30, citing the results of a study by PwC Türkiye.
It should be noted that of the 95% of heads of Turkish companies, 30% prefer European countries to invest, the USA and Canada (18%) and Eurasian countries (Russia and Central Asia) – 18%.
Turkish investors, when choosing a country or region to invest, prefer a location in the world with a large market size and geographic potential and that offers a favorable environment for investors.
“Low labor costs, tax breaks and incentives appear to be a minor factor in investors’ location decisions.”says a comment on the PwC Türkiye study.
The publication recalled that between 2013 and 2023 Turkish investments abroad amounted to approximately $3 billion (265 billion rubles) annually.
