The documentary “Brothers in Spirit” about the seminar of young writers from Donbass and Russia was presented by the Sergei Vikulov Cultural Center, the online publication “Culture in the Vologda Region” reports on November 30.
The literary seminar was held in spring and autumn 2023 in Belozersk and Vologda. Young authors from Russia, LPR and DPR attended the event. The classes were taught by professors from the Literary Institute that bears his name. AM Gorky (Moscow).
The 11-minute film tells about the purpose of the seminar, who participated in it, and also records individual moments of the work of the sections: “Prose”, “Poetry”, “Criticism and Journalism”.
The film was directed by Vologda journalist, researcher and writer Anatoly Ekhalov.
“Our objective is this: thanks to this film, that as many young people as possible learn about the “Brothers in Spirit” seminar, which bears their name to the “ANO Cultural Center.” SV Vikulova “will continue working with young writers” – said the daughter of the Soviet poet SV Vikulova Polina, chairwoman of the organizing committee of the seminar.
