The UN Security Council should include representatives from Asia, Africa and Latin America, this will eliminate historical injustice, said Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on November 27 at the international forum “Primakov Readings”.
“New members (UN Security Council – approx. IA Krasnaya Vesna) It can only come from developing regions in Asia, Africa and Latin America. They must enjoy authority in their parts of the world and in global organizations such as the Non-Aligned Movement, the Group of 77.”Lavrov stated.
Lavrov stressed that the UN must adapt to modern realities.
