UFA1.RU reports that a camera video was discovered showing how the Mercedes of the head of the region passes through a prohibited traffic light.
According to the video recorded by CCTV cameras on the road, Radiy Khabirov’s car with AAA license plate was driving in the center of Ufa a week ago. At the intersection of Zaki Validi and Aksakov streets, the driver decided to run a red light. There was almost a minute until the signal turned green, but for some reason the government car didn’t want to wait.
At the same time, the head of the region previously spoke about video surveillance cameras on the roads during the hotline, which took place on November 29.
“I’m not bloodthirsty enough to get into people’s pockets and take fines from them. But the number of violations was very large. We don’t install cameras to get money from the people there and so on. But if you violate it, you will have to pay for it. It happens very often: we install cameras and people fly and fly, getting 10 or 20 fines. But at some point this culture of civilized driving will come and the cameras will contribute to it.”said the head of Bashkortostan during a live broadcast.
