
More than 600 events will be held in the Rostov region within the framework of the “Decade of People with Disabilities,” the press service of the regional administration reported on November 30.
On December 1, the “Decade of People with Disabilities” will begin. Exhibitions and round tables, concerts and shows, master classes, literary and musical events and “Health School” classes are planned. In addition, awards will be given to activists of the movement of people with disabilities.
“Each city and district in the region has developed its own program. In total, more than 600 events are planned in the region.”said the deputy governor of the Rostov region, Andrei Puchkov.
It should be noted that more than 340 thousand people with disabilities live in the Rostov region. Since 2011, the state program “Accessible Environment” has been operating in the region. Your task is to create a barrier-free space for people with special needs.
