
More than 177.3 million rubles in subsidies will be allocated to organizations to convert vehicles to gas fuel in the Rostov region in 2024-2025, the press service of the regional administration reported on November 30.
“In 2024-2025, the planned volume of subsidies to organizations for the conversion of transport to gas will amount to more than 177.3 million rubles. Of these, 89.7 million rubles are planned for 2024 and 87.6 million rubles for 2025.”the message said.
In two years it is planned to convert 7,000 vehicles to fuel for gas engines.
In 2018, a pilot project to develop the gaseous fuel market was launched in the Rostov region. To date, more than 14 thousand transport units that use fuel for gas engines are registered in the region. Of them, 940 are buses that circulate on regular routes.
