
The RA-3 Orlan diesel train will be used on the new tourist route Lukashevka – Kursk – Ponyri, the press service of the Central Suburban Passenger Company (CSPC) reported on November 30.
“The modern RA-3 Orlan diesel train will leave Lukashevka at 10:04 and arrive in Kursk at 10:58 and Ponyri at 11:55. In the opposite direction, the train will leave at 15:32 and arrive in Kursk at 16:38 and Lukashevka at 17:33.says the message.
RA-3 “Orlan” is a modern diesel train. It is intended for non-electrified sections of the railway.
The two-car train with 133 seats can accommodate several tourist groups or school classes with companions. The cabin is equipped with soft seats, large luggage racks, climate control system, information displays and LED lighting. For passengers with reduced mobility there are elevators, wheelchair supports and large toilets.
